Hand Knit Gifts

Hi Everyone,

What's your feeling about hand knit gifts?

Do you enthusiastically make cozy items for friends and family, or would you rather knit for yourself (after all, who appreciates it more)? And if you did gift some knitting this past holiday season, how was it received?

Personally, I'm knitting for Valentine's Day this year... :-)
