We have temporarily suspended all in-person classes during this worldwide health crisis, but we are happy to announce that we've added some virtual offerings to the schedule! The Virtual Knitting Table and Virtual Private Lessons will be taught by Chiaki Hayashi, our resident master instructor. We also offer a weekly Virtual Knit Night social gathering.
These adorable slippers are quickly made from one skein of Malabrigo Mecha yarn. They are knit flat and in the round. No seaming required! This pattern will teach you how to pick up stitches in garter, German short rows and I-cord bind-off (optional). The Woodland Loafers design won the “feet" category in the annual March Mayhem competition by Mason Dixon Knitting!
This class will be offered via Zoom. During class, Ariane will provide instructions on the pattern and will demonstrate tips that will help you create these cozy slippers.
The Knitting Table with Chiaki is designed as an informal drop-in session. You decide what you'll work on. Get the help you need with the project of your choice, or learn a new technique - it's up to you! The Knitting Table fills up, so sign up in advance online.
Do you prefer learning in a focused, one-on-one environment? Do you have an issue with your knitting that's bigger than The Virtual Knitting Table can easily handle? Whatever the case may be, sign up now for a private 30-minute session with Chiaki.
