Another Great Event at Ground

Hi Everyone,

I'm just back from my very first yarn tasting at our gorgeous local home and garden goods store, Ground (Caitlin and Beth couldn't be nicer or more accomodating!).

We truly had the best time!

Ariane did a fantastic job organizing the event and, in an effort to keep everything safe and healthy, she provided individual baskets of yarn for each attendee to try. 

Blue Sky Fibers' Alpaca Silk, Biches et Buches' Le Gros Lambswool, Kelbourne Woolens' Andorra and Urth Yarn's Kashmir Mono were all included.

(I think the favorites were the Alpaca Silk and the Kasmir Mono...)

Everyone brought their own needles, so there was no need to share!

We tempted the group with a sneak peek at our newest yarns.

And Ariane brought a variety of beautiful pattern ideas for all of the fibers we featured.

Then, everyone got busy and spread out to test their samples.

We chatted and snacked on individually packaged treats and just relaxed and took in the really lovely weather.

With winter around the corner, I don't know how many more chances we'll get to have such an awesome outdoor event.

Maybe we'll try to squeeze one more in?
