Japanese Indigo is a 100% recycled yarn, dyed in the very traditional Japanese Indigo method that has been used by this company since 1870. Each skein is hand-dyed.

This yarn is softly spun resulting in generous yardage and a lovely soft cotton feel. A wonderful fiber for simple sweaters or a very special shawl.
Because of the potency of the dye, we highly recommend that you hand wash your garment the first couple of times.
