In this class Chiaki will lead you through designing a knitted Patchwork Pillowcase!
Each square piece is continually knit by picking up stitches and shaped by German short rows. This ‘Stella Quilt Cushion’ pattern gives you 2 motif choices.
Please choose which one you would like to make before coming to the first class. (Yarn requirements differ per motif.)
Please note: we will be making 12” x 12” pillowcases in this class. (The original pattern's pillow size is 20”x 20”)
The yardage below is for 12” x 12" pillow. If you would like to make the larger size, please refer to the original pattern for correct yardage.

CO 21 sts and knit both sides 21 rows. This should measure 4”W x 2” H, after wet blocking.

Main Color - Motif 1, 175g Motif 2, 165g —— This includes back side of pillow. If you are planning to add an envelope enclosure, you will need an extra 25g.

Contrasting Color - Motif 1, 48g total. Motif 2, 64g total. (Each triangle is about ４g)

The store sample is knit with BSF Woolstok.
