Brioche stitch creates a beautifully cushiony fabric which is made even more stunning when it is worked with 2 colors.
In this 2-week class, you will learn how to make a gorgeous cowl using basic Brioche stitches.
While this class is perfect for newcomers to Brioche, it is also a great refresher for those that have tried the technique before.

Dates: 2 Saturdays - 4/3 & 4/10, 10-11am
First week - Learn basic Brioche knit and purl stitches
Second week - Learn "How to Fix Brioche Mistakes"
Fee: $30 for 2 sessions
Supplies needed:
Yarn - 2 contrasting colors of any worsted weight yarn / MC = 85 yards, CC = 75 yards
Recommended yarns:
Anzula "For Better or Worsted", Malabrigo "Rios", Essence of Autumn "Prairie Worsted" or Malabrigo "Washted".
Needles - US #5 16" long circular needles

Notions - 1 ring stitch marker
Homework:
1. With MC, CO 135 sts. Place M and join into the round being careful not to twist sts.
2. (PS, K1) repeat around. Work total 3 rounds.
