Welcome to the Knit House Blog!
Hi Everyone!
Welcome to Knit House's very first blog post.
Since we're all knitting separately these days, we thought it would be a good idea to open up as many channels of communication with you, our treasured customers, as we could. Of course, we will continue to send out newsletters and post our fun photos to Instagram, but we created this blog with the hope that it would be an easy, casual way to connect.
So, without further delay, let's get to it!
Have you seen our new yarns yet?
Before the virus struck, back in the carefree days of very early March, we placed some orders for new yarn - some squishy cottons to prepare for the warm weather and some other lovely yarns just because we couldn't resist. We met with our trusty sales reps from Malabrigo, Plymouth and Juniper Moon Farms, and we just ordered away. Most of our requests have now been fulfilled (giant boxes dragged over from Julie's doorstep since the store is closed), and we have some gorgeous new fibers on display that no one sees except for a couple of employees (one at a time, of course).
We'd like to share them with you here. The new yarns and new colors will be very noticeable as we have not been able to have our professional photographers in for another session. Instead, we're relying on good ol' iPhone coverage. It seems to work ok.
Check these new yarn out and please note that the Malabrigo Arroyo included in the "New" list is for some brand new colors of Arroyo, not for the yarn itself.
Let us know if you have any questions. We are answering emails every day. :-)
